Great artistry and story line. Both my jr. high daughter and I enjoy it. A bit pricey new - have switched to getting used. Shipped quick.
This was a very good introduction to a new character, the artwork was pleasant, and there was plenty of action. I don't know if this is part of the main story, but it was a very good comic.
This is a very enjoyable comic, but it seemed out of place chronologically. This says it is number three, but has almost nothing to do with how volume 2 ended. I really like it, but I just felt like perhaps the timeline is wrong. Arrived in great condition. Can't wait for volume 4!

This is one of the smartest and most amazing pieces of girl power in the comic book / graphic novel world today. I love the strength shown in each female character and the tenacity that the main characters show in their adventures. Definitely a winner!!!!
I've loved all the Princeless books I'd read before this and was excited for this new volume. At first, I wasn't sure about Raven. But the more I saw her, I came to love her. She's a great multi-dimensional character that challenges Adrienne in many different ways. I love that she's got her own series starting now!
This book was wonderful. It has some much to offer both old and new fans. Princess Adrienne, her loyal dragon Sparky, and her best friend Bedelia the blacksmith are kick butt adventurers on a quest to rescue Adrienne's sisters. In this volume, they detour from their quest by rescuing Raven Xingtao, a princess trapped within tower. However, when Raven turns out to be the infamous pirate known as the Black Arrow, our heroes may have gotten more than they ask for. I can not expressed how great this book is. You've got action, drama, a fire breathing dragon and best of all PIRATES. Not to mention the main characters all women, two of which are women of color. Plus, you do not to read the first volumes to understand what's going on for those new to the series. The Pirate Princess is an adventure story that is on it's way of being a classic.
